Over the past number of years Agile and Lean methodologies have been gaining in popularity because of their ability to deliver exceptional quality solutions to the business such as in BT, Standard Life and HBOS. Agile/Lean methodologies focus on eliminating waste, customer collaboration, responding quickly to changing demands and releasing value early and often. The time is right for the public service to embrace these methodologies.
