Selection Process

Exoftware's selection process ensures you get a full background on the work we do and how we do it. That way, we get to continue to work with bright, passionate people and you feel confident and comfortable in Exoftware being the right match for you.

How it Happens

First send your CV to jobs@exoftware.com. For technical mentoring positions, we'll get in touch and ask you to develop and submit a program from a list of project possibilities. For non-technical mentoring positions we may ask you for an example of project work.

Then we'll invite you to our offices for a half-day session made up of three parts.

  1. Technical interview - primarily based on the submitted example program. This is where we learn what makes you tick - technically.
  2. Interactive Session
    1. Pair-programming session - developers will be asked to pair-in with an Exoftware developer. Since we are an Agile company we want to give you a chance to experience a little bit of Agile in a pairing session, and see our team at work.
    2. Mock presentation or mentoring session - mentors will be asked to present some training material or mentor some members of the team. This helps us get a feel for your style and communication skills. We may also ask you to join us on a client site, if a mock session cannot be done.
  3. Personal interview - this is the time to tell us about your career aspirations, your expectations from a role, and a chance to ask questions.

We will give you a decision as soon as we can - usually within a day or so.

Agile Network

The Agile Network is a unique team model that is designed to gather together independent developers and consultants who are interested in working on Agile projects, but not necessarily joining Exoftware on a full-time basis.

You get the opportunity to apply your skills and experience to Agile projects. while we get to offer an even wider variety of skills and industry expertise to our clients by tapping into your expertise for Agile projects as needed.
